Tech Support Specialist
Job Summary:
As a Tech Support Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Assistant Manager and Floor Supervisors in launching and operating our upcoming VR leisure center in NYC. You will provide expert technical support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a seamless VR experience for users. Your role involves diagnosing and resolving technical problems, guiding step-by-step... solutions, and collaborating with other teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Responsibilities: ? Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues related to VR systems and general operation of the location ? Documentation: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in the support database. ? Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operation and address any technical issues promptly. ? Knowledge Base: Contribute to and maintain an up-to-date knowledge base and FAQs for internal use ? Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory of VR equipment and accessories, ensuring all necessary items are in stock and properly maintained.
Qualifications: ? Strong understanding of VR technology, including hardware components and software applications. ? Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently. ? Excellent verbal and written communication skills. ? Previous experience in tech support or a related field, preferably with VR or gaming technology. ? Ability to handle challenging customer situations with patience and empathy. ? Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures ? Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays. ? Fluent in writing and speaking French is a plus.
