- What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the advocate for providers by demonstrating accountability and ownership to resolve issues
- Provide support to healthcare professionals via phone and chat, addressing inquiries on benefits, eligibility, billing, and clinical authorizations
- Research and resolve complex prior authorization and claim issues to prevent repeat calls and provider dissatisfaction
- Collaborate with internal partners to ensure timely communication and resolution of provider issues
- Navigate multiple systems efficiently to extract necessary information for issue resolution
- What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- 1+ years of customer service experience with strong problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in computer and Windows PC applications, with the ability to learn new systems
- Ability to type at a speed of 35-40+ WPM with 90% accuracy
- How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior healthcare experience and familiarity with healthcare terminology
- Experience in a call center or customer service environment using phones and computers as primary tools
