Key Responsibilities
? Deliver specialized online instruction by providing high-quality, individualized instruction to students with exceptional needs through a virtual platform.
? Develop and implement virtual IEPs by creating and managing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavior support plans to meet each student?s specific needs.
? Adapt curriculum and materials to modify and design curriculum and digital learning materials for accessibility and engagement.
? Conduct online assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust instruction as needed to support learning objectives.
? Collaborate with families and staff to foster a supportive environment that promotes student success.
? Facilitate virtual meetings, leading IEP meetings and parent conferences to discuss progress and address any concerns.
? Stay informed by keeping up-to-date with the latest developments in special education laws and online teaching best practices.

Qualifications
? Educational Background: Master's degree in Special Education.
? Licensing: Valid teaching license with an endorsement for exceptional children.
? Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in special education.
? Technical Skills: Proficiency in using digital learning tools and assistive technology.
? Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
? Engagement: Ability to create engaging and interactive online learning experiences.
? Personal Attributes: Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude.
