- What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct thorough eligibility assessments to determine customer qualifications for various programs and services
- Manage a caseload by maintaining regular communication with clients throughout the eligibility process
- Collect and verify necessary documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Coordinate referrals to internal departments or community partners based on client needs and program guidelines
- Monitor customer service quality by responding to client inquiries in a timely manner and resolving issues effectively
- What is Required (Qualifications):
- A post-secondary degree in humanities, business administration, public administration, education, or human resources is preferred
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a related field
- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local eligibility requirements for various programs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases efficiently
- How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory guidelines related to program eligibility
- Experience in case management principles and processes
- Analytical and critical thinking skills to assess client information accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Problem-solving ability to identify challenges in the eligibility process and implement solutions
