Key Responsibilities
? Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
? Assist the Controller in daily cash flow calculations and execution.
? Reconcile a high volume of transactions with meticulous attention to accuracy.
? Oversee reconciliation for Sales Tax collection and payments.
? Aid in preparing monthly/annual financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
? Interface with Accounts Receivable representatives at vendors to ensure timely payments.
? Collaborate with the finance team for monthly and year-end closings.
? Work with external auditors or investment partners and prepare audit documentation.
? Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
? Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
Qualifications
? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
? Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping and accounts payable experience, with at least 2 years in a company generating over $20M annually.
? Proven experience in e-commerce, handling 1,000+ monthly orders.
? Exceptional proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Microsoft Excel.
? Experience managing AP/AR relationships with multimillion-dollar vendors.
? Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
? Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
? Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
? Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality.
Benefits
? Hourly rate: $31 - $35 per hour (DOE).
