Billing and Accounting Assistant (Part-Time)

- What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage accounts payable and receivable while ensuring adherence to established accounting standards
- Perform routine clerical accounting duties, including data entry of contracts and financial transactions
- Process and reconcile payroll on a biweekly basis and ensure timely submission of timesheets
- Assist in audit requests and collaborate with partners for reporting and compliance activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external clients
- What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associates degree in accounting preferred
- Minimum of two years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
- Familiarity with ADP payroll processing and accounting software (PROCAS preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)
- How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with WAWF (Wide Area Workflow)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and Google Docs and Sheets
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and via email
- Experience working in an integrated team environment
