WordPress / WooCommerce Plugin Developer – API Integration (Chat Widget + Woo Sync)
We are building Nuvro, a SaaS AI platform, and we are looking for an experienced WordPress / WooCommerce Plugin Developer to create a custom WordPress plugin that integrates with our platform via API. This project is plugin-only. The AI logic, backend, and dashboard already exist and are handled by our internal developer. You will work collaboratively with our platform developer, following a clear technical specification. Scope of Work Develop a single WordPress plugin with two independent modules (tabs): 1) Webchat Module Allows WordPress users to install and configure our AI web chat widget without touching code. Features: Enable / disable webchat (toggle) Client ID + Agent (or Channel) ID fields Widget customization options: Agent name Agent icon URL Primary / secondary colors Dark mode Language Ask for name / email / phone (toggles) Up to 4 suggested questions “Chat with us” text Widget insertion: Automatic (footer) Shortcode option The plugin only injects/configures the widget. All chat logic runs on our platform. 2) WooCommerce Sync Module (Beta) Optional module to synchronize WooCommerce catalog data with our platform to train the AI model. Features: Visible only if WooCommerce is installed Enable / disable sync (toggle) Connection Token field (generated in our platform) Connect button Manual “Sync now” button Connection status + last sync timestamp Error handling / logs (basic) Data to sync: Simple & variable products Variations Regular / sale prices Stock & availability Categories & attributes SKU Short & long descriptions Product URLs Featured images Sync method: WooCommerce hooks (create/update/delete) REST API calls to our platform Cron fallback for reliability Important Notes Installing the plugin must not activate anything automatically Each module has its own independent toggle The plugin consumes an external API (our platform) No AI, ML, or embeddings logic inside WordPress Clean, maintainable WordPress plugin architecture required Tech Requirements Strong experience building custom WordPress plugins Deep knowledge of WooCommerce hooks PHP (OOP preferred) WordPress admin UI & settings pages REST APIs / webhooks Security best practices (tokens, HTTPS) Nice to Have Ability to communicate in Spanish (not mandatory, but ideal) Experience with SaaS integrations Experience publishing plugins in private or public repositories Collaboration You will work closely with our platform developer, who will provide: API endpoints Authentication method Data format specifications Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
