Senior Back-End Engineer Lead

The team is backed by some of the world’s leading VCs (Andreessen Horowitz, NEA, etc.) and is supported by an expert group of advisors including the cofounders of Square and Xendit, executives from Intuit, former Governors, White House senior staffers, and a co-founder of CityMD. We're looking for: A Lead Backend Engineer with experience in Fintech or marketplaces who will be at the forefront of our mission to bring better finance solutions to millions of businesses in the United States. We need high-achieving and goal-oriented individual who will help Nitra to deliver on an ambitious roadmap of innovative banking and SaaS products. ***Note: You must be based out of Taipei for this role. Your responsibilities will include: Building backend APIs using node.js and express.js with a PostgreSQL database Working with banking and payment APIs You have: Fluency in English Able to have flexible working hours to collaborate with our NY / DC office Deep experience with and understanding of: JavaScript (5+ years) Node.js (5+ years) Express.js framework (2+ years) APIs (5+ years)/Building fintech backend APIs (1+ years) Databases (PostGreSQL) (2+ years) Architecture (2+ years) Fintech web applications (1+ years) The ability to see challenges as opportunities to level up.
