[Remote] PR Account Manager

They are seeking a PR Account Manager to join their remote workforce, focusing on high-growth technology companies to increase market awareness and drive sales through strategic public relations and communications programs. Responsibilities • Write press releases, bylines, abstracts, blog posts, white papers, award nominations, speaking opportunities and other PR and marketing materials • Responsible for researching and creating proactive pitch ideas, drafting, distributing and pitching press releases and facilitating media interviews • Provide staff with support and direction, serving as a role model and mentor on client service, professionalism, teamwork and more • Manage the daily execution of client activity • Create social media posts and blog posts for both GMG and clients and grow engagement on social media channels • Compile weekly news reports for clients • Communicate effectively with PR team members and clients via email, Zoom, Click-Up and Basecamp Skills • At least 5 years of experience in the PR industry • PR agency experience (preferably tech PR industry experience) • Team management experience • Extremely strong writing skills: press releases, bylines, white papers, pitches, etc. • Proven ability to secure press coverage for clients • Well organized and detail-oriented • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs • Social media experience: Twitter, Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn, blogging, etc. • Desire to work in an ethical and collaborative professional environment with mission-driven companies • Bachelor’s Degree Company Overview • Emerging Technology Marketing Company It was founded in 2009, and is headquartered in Reston, Virginia, USA, with a workforce of 11-50 employees.
