Project Manager Security (SOC & Pharma Experience Required)

Overview Johnson & Johnson is seeking an experienced Project Manager with Security Operations Center (SOC) background and pharmaceutical industry experience to support a critical initiative within its Orthopedics business. This role will be delivered through the Managed Community model and will focus on end-to-end project coordination, governance, and execution across global teams, internal stakeholders, and third-party suppliers in a highly regulated environment. This is a preferred vendor role, and candidates with strong SOC exposure and deep understanding of pharma compliance frameworks (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, HIPAA) are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities • Lead project planning, scheduling, status reporting, and risk/issue tracking (RAID log management). • Manage Kanban boards and facilitate recurring project forums (e.g., steering committees, working groups). • Coordinate cross-functional activities across global regions: North America, Latin America, EMEA, and APAC. • Support financial tracking in partnership with Finance and the RIM A&D Center of Excellence (CoE), ensuring visibility into contracts, work orders, and purchase orders. • Oversee data lifecycle activities including identification, separation, remediation, transfer, and termination managing sources, destinations, dependencies, and secure transfer protocols. • Serve as a liaison between Technology, Technology Services, Technology Quality, RIM, Legal, Privacy, and Quality functions. • Ensure alignment, transparency, and momentum through structured communication and proactive stakeholder engagement. Required Qualifications • Mandatory SOC Experience: Demonstrated background working with or managing Security Operations Center functions, incident response, or security monitoring within enterprise environments. • Pharmaceutical Industry Experience: Proven track record supporting projects in regulated pharma/biotech settings; familiarity with compliance requirements (e.g., FDA, GDPR, data privacy laws). • Strong project management skills with experience using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies. • Proficiency in project tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet). • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities. • Ability to operate independently in a matrixed, global organization. Preferred Qualifications • PMP, CSM, or other relevant certifications. • Prior experience with data separation or carve-out initiatives (e.g., spin-offs, divestitures). • Familiarity with Johnson & Johnson systems or processes.
