Network Scheduling Intern

Delta Air Lines seeks a Network Scheduling Intern for Summer 2026 to coordinate flight schedules aligning aircraft to demand and operational constraints. Your Role Here’s what you will be doing: • Coordinate the design and development of Delta's flight schedule by aligning aircraft to demand while analyzing operational and aircraft constraints • Ensure the final schedule meets maintenance, slot, curfew, and special performance requirements • Implement holiday and day-of-week adjustments • Manage charter flying and understand its impact on the Network • Review proposed schedules with operational stakeholders and make changes as required • Fine tune schedules to ensure operational reliability About You The company is looking for: • Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate student at a 4-year academic institution • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4-point scale • Availability to work full-time during Summer 2026 semester (May-August) • Ability to work onsite in Atlanta, GA for the internship duration • Prohibition on taking courses while working as a Co-op/Intern • Knowledge of three-letter airport codes and basic airline economics preferred • Ability to manage multiple assignments with strict deadlines and work effectively under pressure • Team-oriented mindset • Strong written and oral communication skills, with ability to produce concise, relevant, strategic documents and executive presentations • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Consistent prioritization of safety and security of self, others, and personal data • Embraces diversity in people, thinking, and styles • Possession of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent • At least 18 years old and authorized to work in the United States Career Progression • Working as a Co-op/Intern does not guarantee a full-time opportunity at Delta Air Lines upon graduation; the position is intended to provide educational and professional work experience to prepare the student for the workforce.
