- What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from participants and prescribers to process order requests
- Verify insurance coverage for new and existing patients to ensure successful prescription processing
- Research and resolve payment issues, providing timely updates to requestors
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient account profiles and referral source data
- Coordinate the delivery and setup of medical equipment and supplies
- What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year in a customer service or call center environment
- 1 year of experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel in a work setting
- Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required
- Strong attention to detail and proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and team members
- How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 6 months of knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and health insurance
- Experience in a healthcare setting or insurance industry
- Effective and empathetic communication style
- Basic alpha-numeric data entry skills with attention to accuracy
- Intermediate math skills with a focus on detail and quality
