Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Full Time Virtual Sign Language Interpreter for a school district in Oregon. The Interpreter will be responsible for providing sign language interpretation services to facilitate communication between individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing and others. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting virtual meetings, sessions, and appointments, ensuring clear and accurate communication for all parties involved.

Qualifications
? Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
? Licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter in Oregon is required.
? Experience in providing sign language interpretation services
? Strong knowledge of deaf culture and communication needs
? Excellent visual, spatial, and auditory skills
? Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
? Experience in educational settings is a plus
? Strong interpersonal and communication skills
