Yelp is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Content Moderator to focus on removing spam comments from our platform. In this role, you will play a crucial part in upholding our high standards for community-generated content, ensuring that our users can rely on Yelp for honest and reliable recommendations. Key Responsibilities: ? * Review and moderate user-generated content, with a primary focus? on identifying and removing spam comments. ? * Utilize moderation tools and guidelines to evaluate the quality and authenticity of user reviews and comments. ? * Maintain a consistent and high level of moderation accuracy. ? * Work closely with cross-functional teams to improve moderation processes and tools. ? * Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for content moderation. ? Requirements: ? * Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and remove spam content effectively. ? * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. ? * Familiarity with Yelp platform and a passion for the company mission. ? * Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. ? * Strong organizational and time management skills. ? * Prior experience in content moderation is a plus but not required. ?
