- What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary liaison for members and providers regarding program inquiries such as eligibility, authorizations, and claims
- Handle and resolve customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring first call resolution
- Research and triage customer issues using available resources
- Maintain detailed call logs to record customer interactions and actions taken
- Act as the primary representative for the organization, focusing on customer engagement and relationship building
- What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years in a customer service environment
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Ability to resolve customer problems while maintaining patience and courtesy
- Capability to work well under pressure in a rapidly changing environment
- How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree
- Bilingual (Spanish) or other languages
- 2+ years in an HMO/Healthcare Industry setting
- Understanding of Protected Health Information (PHI) and confidentiality
- Proficiency with MS Office suite
