Responsibilities

Deliver engaging virtual instruction and support to students with special needs, both individually and in small groups.

Adapt and customize instructional materials and strategies to cater to the diverse learning needs of students with disabilities.

Effectively use virtual platforms to facilitate instruction and interactive learning experiences.

Track student progress, assess their strengths and areas for growth, and offer continuous feedback and support.

Work collaboratively with parents, general education teachers, and other educational professionals to develop and implement personalized education plans (IEPs) for each student.

Caseload: K-12 students with various disabilities within the school district

Work Setup: Fully Remote

Compensation: Competitive salary

Pay Schedule: Weekly

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field

Active South Dakota state certification in Special Education, or a commitment to obtaining it before your start date

Proficiency with virtual learning platforms and technology for effective remote instruction
