Position Overview: The Google Analytics Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data analytics solutions to meet the evolving needs of our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data analytics tools and platforms, with a strong focus on Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Looker Studio, Firebase, BigQuery, Amplitude, Databricks, and Tableau. This individual will be responsible for leading reporting initiatives, conducting gap analyses, performing migration work, configuring GTM setups, writing SQL commands and queries, debugging data issues, and communicating progress and strategies directly with stakeholders. Responsibilities: Design and architect data analytics solutions tailored to the specific requirements of our organization. Lead reporting initiatives, including the development of comprehensive dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker Studio and Tableau. Conduct gap analyses to identify opportunities for improvement in our data analytics processes and systems. Perform migration work to transition existing analytics solutions to new platforms or technologies. Configure and optimize Google Tag Manager setups to ensure accurate tracking and data collection across digital properties. Write complex SQL commands and queries to extract insights from large datasets stored in BigQuery and other databases. Debug data issues and troubleshoot technical challenges related to data analytics implementations. Communicate directly with stakeholders to understand requirements, provide updates on progress, and collaborate on strategy development. Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in data analytics, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance our capabilities. Mentor and provide guidance to junior members of the data analytics team. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 13-15 years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on architecting and implementing complex solutions. Extensive expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), Looker Studio, Firebase, BigQuery, Amplitude, Databricks, and Tableau. Proven experience with reporting, gap analysis, migration work, GTM configuration setup, SQL command writing, and debugging. Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau) preferred.
