We have an exciting opportunity for an intern on our Regional Business Operations Team. As an intern supporting our Business Operations functions, you will play a key role in driving success with legal data management, donor event management systems, finance processing, updating SharePoint sites, etc. Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks that contribute to the planning, execution, and follow-up of these behind-the-scenes operational functions. Internship Overview: • Time Commitment: 25 hours per week • Internship Duration: 1/26/26-5/1/26 • Location:Remote • Salary: $23.00 per hour Internship Outcomes: Individuals participating in the internship program are provided with an opportunity to: • Gain important and practical job skills to be successful in a non-profit environment. • Opportunity to explore a career-path with a reputable voluntary health/service organization. • Complete an internship that enriches your academic and professional resume as well as enriching your personal life by making a difference in the lives of others. Responsibilities Event Contracts & Legal Documentation • Support processing of local event contract backlog. • Enter contract details into Optimus and assist with tracking legal documentation. Data & Reporting • Enter guest lists, table assignments, and bidder paddle information into Greater Giving. • Assist with pulling event-related reports and organizing data to monitor progress and outcomes. • Conduct weekly data quality checks in Greater Giving, Luminate, Salesforce, and Tableau. Finance Processing • Enter event-related documentation and invoices into Salesforce. • Assist in preparing Letters of Agreement, Attachment A benefits, and submitting internal proposals. Communications & Documentation • Collaborate with regional leads to design graphics for event materials. • Help update and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) in partnership with department leads. • Maintain and update SharePoint resources with current documentation. • Create short training videos to support onboarding and process education. Administrative & Operational Support • Prepare printed materials, assemble thank-you cards, and donation receipts • Support the creation of agendas and materials for monthly operations meetings, weekly departmental meetings, and training sessions. Qualifications • Candidates who are seniors or graduate students pursuing a degree in Business, Nonprofit Fundraising, or Event Management or related field. • Experience/interest in Business Management, Data Management and Analytics, Nonprofit Operations, Fundraising Events, or Project Coordination. • Experience with Salesforce or other customer database preferred. • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. • Demonstrated excellence in written communication skills. • Demonstrated skills in effective one-on-one and group communications and comfort with working professionally with all levels of community leaders, volunteers, and staff. • Effective oral and presentation communication skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment managing multiple priorities involving multiple entities. • Intermediate to excellent proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. • Basic knowledge of Canva. • Required Equipment: Reliable WiFi Connection • Minimum availability of 20 hrs/wk, M-F between the hours of 8:30am-5pm. • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship, now or in the future.
