HR Customer Support Specialist (Tier 1) Human Resources Team Starting Pay - Between $20-25/hr For Well-Known Retail Company CST - Hybrid in Plano OR Remote Contract Position (Potential to convert permanent) Job Description We're seeking an HR Customer Support Specialist to serve as the vital first point of contact for employees seeking HR assistance. In this frontline role, you'll handle a high volume of employee inquiries through phone and email, providing timely, accurate, and empathetic support that reflects a culture of service excellence. While extensive HR knowledge isn't required, your strong customer service background and ability to quickly learn HR processes will be essential to your success. Your day-to-day will involve managing inbound and outbound calls, responding to emails with professionalism and clarity, and documenting interactions in case management systems. Required Experience/Skills • Proven customer service experience in call-center, helpdesk, or service-oriented environment • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to handle high call and email volume • Exceptional active listening skills with ability to understand employee concerns and ask clarifying questions • Proficiency with office applications (Microsoft Office Suite) and comfort learning new HR or ticketing systems Nice-to-Haves • Previous experience supporting employees or customers in HR, benefits, payroll, or shared services environments • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft, Workday, or similar platforms • Experience with case management or ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Remedy, or similar tools) If you're qualified and interested...
