FP&A Analyst

Wealthfront is looking for a junior FPA Analyst, who will report directly to the Senior Director of Finance. Finance and Accounting at Wealthfront Wealthfront ’s Finance and Accounting team operates cross-functionally, collaborating with multiple departments across the company. Key responsibilities: Manage the scheduling, planning, and preparation of the monthly Close. Assist with the monthly review of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flow (direct indirect) by preparing variance analysis reports and forecasts. Proactively identify, develop, and implement enhancements to existing reporting and business processes. Assist in the preparation of Wealthfront ’s annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans. Leverage insights from the month-end close and other projects to improve the quality of Wealthfront ’s operating and financial models. Support the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial presentations. Continuously improve and implement new financial and operational processes to support the Finance and Accounting teams. Skills and experience Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, or Economics related field. 2-4 years of experience in an FPA role. Excellent analytical skills and a strong proficiency in financial modeling and enterprise accounting software (e.g., Netsuite). Database experience (e.g., SQL) a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Self-starter who regularly takes initiative and can juggle multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating creativity and judgment while prioritizing appropriately to meet tight deadlines. A proven ability to problem solve and proactively address issues in a professional and effective manner. Takes pride in meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations on quality of output. Relentless attention to detail with the ability to adapt communications based on the audience. Unquestionable ethics.
