As a remote employee, you'll enjoy the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Representative – Insurance Product Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Conducting thorough needs analyses with each client to determine the most suitable insurance plan based on a combination of price and value from the carriers represented * Assisting clients in the application process, ensuring that all required information is accurate and compliant with all applicable rules and regulations * Submitting complete applications in a timely manner * Understanding and adhering to all company, carrier, and/or CMS-related policies and procedures * Comprehending and clearly articulating product knowledge to clients * Identifying and assessing customer needs to achieve satisfaction * Managing a high volume of incoming calls * Meeting established production goals * Handling complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; following up to ensure resolution * Performing other related job duties as required **Essential Skills and Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need: * The ability to comprehend and clearly articulate product knowledge from various healthcare insurance plans to prospective members/callers * The ability to perform cost/plan analysis and demonstrate an ability to provide prospective members with a recommendation best suited for caller's individual needs that is consistent with product/plan benefits * Proficiency in navigating technology and phone systems * Accurate and timely data entry skills * Excellent communication and listening skills, with a positive attitude * Detail-oriented, motivated self-starter with excellent time management, organization, and computer skills * Customer service orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different personalities **Preferred Skills and Qualifications** While not required, the following skills and qualifications are highly desirable: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Familiarity with CRM systems and practices * Prior Medicare experience * Previous training and experience in or related to healthcare insurance **Work Environment and Culture** As a remote employee, you'll enjoy the flexibility to work from anywhere, while still being part of a dynamic and supportive team.
