Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is reflected in our hiring practices, and we strive to create a workplace culture that values and respects the contributions of all employees. **Job Responsibilities** As an Experienced Customer Service Associate - Electronics Specialist, you will be responsible for: * Greeting and assisting customers throughout their shopping experience, providing personalized recommendations and solutions to meet their needs * Maximizing sales by suggesting products and up-selling when appropriate, while maintaining a deep understanding of our store's merchandise and current promotions * Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including store displays and merchandise, to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers * Assisting with inventory and receiving of merchandise, replenishing backstock to maintain optimal levels of merchandise on the floor * Conducting markdowns of merchandise as instructed, ensuring accurate and timely completion of tasks * Performing opening and closing duties, including securing cash registers and store security, to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment * Communicating customer complaints and inventory concerns to management in a timely manner, providing constructive feedback and suggestions for improvement * Participating in additional responsibilities as assigned, including keyholder duties and other tasks as needed **Job Requirements** To be successful in this role, you will need: * Previous retail or customer service experience, although not required * Strong written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues * Demonstrated customer service experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences * Ability to multitask and resolve minor customer service conflicts, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor * Alcohol Beverage Awareness Card (TAM Card) may be required, depending on the specific store location * Additional Security clearance may be required, depending on the specific store location * Satisfactory Criminal Background Check and Drug Testing may be required, as a condition of employment **Essential Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to possess: * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm * Strong attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports * Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of collaboration and teamwork * Strong adaptability and flexibility, with the ability to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At blithequark, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
