Key Responsibilities Provide customers with accurate information about our products and services, ensuring they are well-informed and empowered to make informed decisions. Resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner, offering solutions, explanations, and options that meet their needs and exceed their expectations. Ensure full customer satisfaction by maintaining a friendly, helpful demeanor and providing personalized support and guidance throughout the customer journey. Customize insurance programs to suit individual customers, often covering a variety of risks and ensuring they are adequately protected. Analyze client's current insurance policies and suggest additions or changes to ensure they are receiving the best possible coverage. Identify and prioritize problems and issues related to the service area, maintaining close contact with customers to provide updates on progress toward resolution. Perform administrative tasks, such as maintaining records, handling policy renewals, and processing applications, releases, cancellations, adjustments, changes, requests, fees, and invoices. Keep accurate records of customer interactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, as well as actions taken to resolve issues. Seek out new clients and develop clientele by networking, attending meetings, and webinars to learn about new products and services, new skills, and receive technical assistance in developing new accounts. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Bilingual language skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients in multiple languages. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., business, insurance) is an asset. Proven experience in customer service, sales, or a related field, with a strong track record of delivering exceptional customer experiences. Strong knowledge of insurance products and services, including policy requirements, underwriting, and risk management. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Designations or certifications in insurance, such as CIP, CAIB, or FCIP. Experience working in a call center or customer service environment, with a strong understanding of customer relationship management (CRM) software. Knowledge of insurance industry software and systems, including policy administration and claims management systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop creative solutions.
