E-mail Marketing Specialist

Job Description: • This is a remote position. • We’re looking for an Email Marketing Specialist with a solid understanding of marketing automation, customer journey flows, and eCommerce growth levers. • Key Responsibilities • Plan, build, and execute email campaigns and automated flows (e.g., welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, re-engagement) in HubSpot. • Support broader lifecycle marketing strategies with hands-on execution and optimization. • Collaborate with content and design teams to produce email assets that reflect brand tone and drive conversion. • Implement segmentation strategies to target specific audiences and improve deliverability and engagement. • Track and report on key performance metrics (open rates, CTR, CVR, etc.), identifying insights and opportunities. • Conduct A/B testing on subject lines, copy, design, and send times to optimize performance. • Maintain and organize contact lists, ensuring data hygiene and compliance with email regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM). • Stay current with best practices and trends in email marketing and eCommerce automation. • Occasionally assist in cross-channel campaign alignment (e.g., paid media, landing pages, pop-ups). Requirements: • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in email marketing, ideally in eCommerce or DTC. • Proficient with HubSpot (flows, lists, segmentation, reporting); experience with Klaviyo is a plus. • Strong analytical skills to interpret email KPIs and recommend data-driven actions. • Good eye for design and UX within email templates (no need to code, but basic editing/design skills a plus). • Strong copy instincts and attention to detail. • Comfortable working independently and in collaboration with creative and growth teams. • Familiarity with eCommerce platforms like Shopify is preferred. • Nice to Have • Experience with multi-channel lifecycle strategies (email, SMS, pop-ups). • Knowledge of CRO tactics and landing page/email alignment. • Exposure to performance marketing and its impact on retention/email strategy.
