Experience with general office responsibilities, especially in a healthcare or billing environment. High School Diploma preferred. Minimum typing skills of 45 wpm, ten key by touch, and strong data entry skills. Knowledge of HIPAA and safety regulations relevant to healthcare billing. Check out our employee perks: What You Will Do Review and prepare billing forms to ensure accuracy and completeness for electronic or hardcopy claims submission. Prepare and review all billing forms for claims submission to insurance carriers. Enter documentation and adjustments through the computer system to maintain correct account balances. Review and identify charge discrepancies; complete all requests for rebilling from inter-department personnel. Prepare daily production reports, maintain required records, and evaluate account information. Perform all other duties as assigned.
