Air Service Development & Forecasting Consultant - Commercial Aviation ICF's Aviation Division seeks an experienced professional to serve as an Air Service Development & Forecasting Consultant - Commercial Aviation. This position is 100% remote in the United States, full time with benefits. This role is tailored for someone with recent commercial aviation experience whose professional work has covered some or all of the following topics: air service development, airline network and fleet planning, air traffic forecasting, market demand studies, strategy, fleet analysis, revenue and cost benchmarking, as well as reviewing and creating business plans. (non-military, non-retail) Clients are typically airports, airline management and investors and airports seeking to understand the aviation market as well as the airlines that serve it. The role is considered cross-functional within ICF - supporting teams with delivery to clients across Airlines, Airports, Tourism organizations, MRO, governments, and non-government organizations, where skills and knowledge can lend value through collaboration across teams of specialists. Holistic experience within the aviation industry is a plus. As a consultant to the ICF Aviation team, you will be primarily responsible for delivering consultancy projects. Typical tasks include guidance of junior staff, handling day-to-day communication with clients, and delivering solutions to problems using a variety of analytical techniques. Your role will also include administrative responsibilities such as developing budgets and scopes of work, project tracking, and liaising with ICF's Contracts and Finance teams (for which training will be provided). You will also be expected to contribute to business development efforts by building a network of client relationships, working on proposals, attending conferences, and contributing to ICF's thought leadership. Compensation: While the range below is broader for career growth, this position will offer a pay range of (100 120K), based upon % match to job description, preferred skills, location, etc., as determined by the hiring team. Responsibilities: Act as the day-to-day point of contact with clients and build long-term trusted relationships. Manage consulting teams and ensure timely delivery of solutions on client-based projects. Support, develop and train junior staff. Airline network planning, development, forecasting, analysis, market studies, business planning, project tracking and associated duties. Manage the development of reports and presentations to synthesize and explain analyses. Support business development initiatives by building a network of client relationships, working on proposals, attending conferences, and contributing to ICF's thought leadership to insure ICF remains a leader in the industry. Build and maintain a culture of collaboration, both within Aviation and across ICF. Must Have Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with courses in finance, business, economics, statistics, accounting or data analytics beneficial. 3+ years of experience in commercial aviation with a focus on topics including commercial strategy, network planning and development, including strong analysis and forecasting. 3+ years of experience using industry datasets and tools (example- network planning tools, OAG). 2+ years of experience leading projects or initiative, creating structured workflows. Able and willing to travel extensively for work as needed. Professional Skills: Acts inclusively, modelling four pillars of inclusive culture objectivity, belonging, voice and growth. Strong analytical aptitude and working knowledge of analytical or quantitative methods. Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written English communication skills. Organizes written work in a manner that is clear, easy to follow, and tailored for the intended audience. Identifies opportunities and manages from business development to project inception. Takes direction from senior leadership and then implements independently. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word & Excel).
